Questions and answers
How is margin per gallon worked out?
From the weighted average cost of the fuel in your tanks. Each delivery is blended in at its cost, and the margin is the selling price minus that cost.
Does Advantage change my pump prices?
No. Your fuel prices stay with your register. Advantage shows what each gallon cost you and what it earned.
Do I have to take tank readings?
No. Tank readings at the close are a choice you make for each store. With them, you see tank variance by shift.
How is mid-grade costed?
Set your mid-grade blend for each store, and mid-grade is costed from the regular and premium it is blended from.
