The back office for Verifone Commander stores
Advantage reads your Commander's own reports and sends prices, items and deals back to it. Nothing at the counter changes.
How Advantage works with Verifone Commander
What Advantage reads from Commander
The register's own shift and day closes become your Shift and Day Reports, and Live POS shows today's sales as they ring up.
- Sales by department, item, fuel grade and payment
- Voids and items sold at a different price
- A Shift Report for every register close
What Advantage sends to Commander
Price changes, new items, item edits, departments, mix-and-match deals and item lists go to the register from the back office or the phone app.
- Marked confirmed when Commander's own reply proves it
- Department changes too
- POS History for every send
Setting it up
We set up a back office login on your Commander with you and install the Advantage connector on the store computer. Your crew keeps ringing as usual.
- No new register or hardware
- Commander, or a Ruby that runs Commander
- Setup guides in the help center
Questions and answers
Does Advantage work with a Verifone Ruby?
Yes, when the Ruby runs Commander. Verifone Ruby Sapphire is not supported.
Do I keep my Verifone register?
Yes. Advantage works with the Commander you already have, and nothing at the counter changes.
Can I change prices on Commander from my phone?
Yes. Find the item with a barcode scan in the phone app, change it and send it. It is marked confirmed when Commander's reply proves it.
Does it read fuel sales?
Yes. Fuel sales by grade come from the register, and Advantage works out your margin per gallon from what the fuel in your tanks cost.
